Jo Tae-san is someone who has lived with a single-minded determination to “protect his family,” after his father destroyed their home through gambling and violence.
His wife, Kang Jin-hee, has been having an affair, associating with a rough crowd and filming sexually suggestive videos.
Then, Tae-san’s life takes a sudden turn when he is diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer.
Facing death, he stops holding back—revealing the anger, cravings, and desires he has long suppressed—and begins living in a completely different way.
