Life means living for someone else. Always living for pitiful neighbors, her mother, and her aunt, Ji-eun meets Eui-tae, the older brother of her only neighborhood friend Eui-ju, at Eui-ju’s funeral during the winter of her third year of high school.

“You must be Yang Ji-eun.”

Even though he can’t even hold chopsticks properly and has an uncertain job, she finds him scary yet keeps finding herself drawn to him, eventually bringing him side dishes and even tutoring him.
