Summary
Banchon: The Lawless Land of Hanyang
Banchon—a lawless refuge within Hanyang, home to butchers who make a living slaughtering cattle. No matter the crime, once someone enters this place, they can escape their pursuers.
Branded as traitors, Suyeon’s in-laws are executed before she can even have a proper wedding. As she flees hand in hand with her husband, he sells her to a butcher in Banchon in a desperate bid for his own escape.
With no choice, Suyeon is forced into marriage with the butcher.
Faced with his massive build, blood-stained hands, and beast-like presence, she is terrified. But over time, she finds herself softening to his unexpected kindness…
A body both firm and gentle. A back rippling with muscles, broad shoulders, and rough hands. A man with the sheer strength to cleave an ox in a single stroke.
And if such a man were to take her…
[“Just look at his size, you can tell. A body like a house, and the strength to butcher cattle in one strike… If he uses that strength in bed, it’ll be…”]
