Summary
Seo-in occasionally has strange dreams – dreams of being intimate with a man she doesn’t know. Dismissing it as mere hormonal frustration after ending years of unsuccessful IVF treatments with her husband (Director Kim), she seeks out a renowned shaman on a friend’s recommendation to inquire about her infertility. ‘You two have a relationship with a lot of debt between you. You were born into this life to repay that debt. And yet, you’re committing such a terrible act again. Tsk tsk. A karmic entanglement, a bad fate. A karmic entanglement you can’t sever even if you try. Be thankful that you haven’t conceived a child. Your destined partner is someone else.’ Later, one day, Seo-in’s friend, Kim Mari, requests a consultation. While congratulating her on being seven weeks pregnant, Seo-in hears something utterly shocking. ‘Actually, this baby is Director Kim’s. Please divorce him. I’ve been waiting for you to divorce, but I can’t take it anymore.’ Seo-in decides to divorce and seeks out a divorce lawyer (Han-hoon). Upon encountering the man from her dreams, Seo-in’s heart begins to race…?
